CES is located near the main building of Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität and close to the Arch of Victory.
Using public transportation
The subway station 'Universität' is only two minutes away from the Center for Economic Studies (U3, U6).
There is also a bus stop (Cityring bus 58, 68; MetroBus 154).
From the Central Railway Station ('Hauptbahnhof'):
Cityring bus 58 or 68 (direct connection)
Subway U4 (direction 'Arabellapark') or U5 (direction 'Neuperlach Süd') to Odeonsplatz, change at 'Odeonsplatz' to U3 (direction 'Olympiazentrum') or U6 (direction 'Garching').
From the Eastern Railway Station ('Ostbahnhof'):
Cityring bus 58 or 68 (direct connection)
All S-Bahn lines (direction 'Marienplatz'), change at 'Marienplatz' to U3 (direction 'Olympiazentrum') or U6 (direction 'Garching').
From Munich Airport:
S-Bahn Number 8 or 1, change at 'Marienplatz' to U3 (direction 'Olympiazentrum') or U6 (direction 'Garching').
To ifo Institute and CESifo GmbH:
From 'Universität' or 'Georgenstraße' with bus 154 (direction 'Arabellapark') or cityring bus 58 (direction 'Hauptbahnhof'), change at 'Mauerkircherstraße' to bus 187 (direction 'Arabellapark') to 'Poschingerstraße'.
